Evaluating the 2ISECAP Approach: The 2ISECAP project has demonstrated that Living Labs can effectively drive integrated energy and climate planning. While institutionalization remains a challenge, the evaluation results highlight their potential for transparency, inclusivity, and efficiency.

Driving Climate Action with Living Labs: 2ISECAP has brought together six European municipalities to develop SECAPs while fostering collaboration and innovation through Living Labs. Each city has created its own success story while tackling shared challenges. The project showcases how local engagement can accelerate the energy transition.

Toolkit for Sustainable Spatial Planning: A new toolkit supports local governments and urban planners in integrating climate adaptation and energy efficiency into development strategies. It offers a structured approach to sustainable spatial planning, ensuring cities become more resilient and energy-efficient.

Toolkit for Local Energy Coalitions: This toolkit helps municipalities and stakeholders establish Local Energy Coalitions (LECs) to advance energy transitions through collaborative networks. It provides practical tools and governance strategies to ensure inclusivity, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

Driving Climate Action in Denmark: All Danish municipalities have aligned their climate strategies with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C target through the DK2020 initiative. With Climate Action Plans in place, they collectively aim for a 76% emissions reduction by 2030.
