The 2023 Covenant of Mayors – Europe Conference on 30th March 2023, will discuss how local response to the energy crisis is paving the way for Europe’s energy transition.

As part of the capacity building within 2ISECAP, learning modules on the living labs process are elaborated. A summary of the modules is now available

The third participation event in February 2023 shall kickstart implementation of Thun’s Energy- and Climate Strategy and allow to consult key implementation projects of the Action Plan with stakeholder in Thun.

Thun organizes a workshop for setting up a Climate Living Lab for the city. Stakeholder are invited to discuss and define fundamental aspects of the Living Lab, such as its organization, business model and communication strategy.

The second meeting of the Leon Living Lab (LLL) about energy was held on December 2, 2022. This LLL is the meeting space for the stakeholders involved in the energy transition of the city of León, as well as in an efficient and effective execution of its SECAP. On this occasion, 10 entities belonging to the four sectors of the quadruple helix model participated. Following the “Living Lab Integrative Process” and the principles of Design Thinking, the attendees worked on the definition of existing problems, the context and the users, as well as the needs and potentialities related to the energy within the city of León.

On 25th of November, 2022, the City of Tartu in cooperation with Tartu Regional Energy Agency held the Third Living Lab meeting within the framework of the 2ISECAP project.

On Thursday 17/11/2022, Municipality of Karditsa organized the 1st “Living Lab” with the support of AN.KA SA. The meeting was held in the municipal council chamber of the City Hall.

At the last day of The Open Living Lab Days in Turin 2ISECAP held the workshop “Transnational Living Lab on local energy transition”. The main goal was to initiate a formal exchange and co-creation on the establishment of a Transnational Living Lab on local energy transition. This should act as a supportive structure to cities/communities for planning the energy transition and engage the civil society.

The city of Thun invited citizens, local business, politics, science and civil society organizations to the second public participation event on the Energy and Climate Strategy to discuss the proposed measures of the Action Plan. The event was held 6 September 2022
